Plan Your Port Day

Both islands offer public beaches with different personalities. Most are easily accessible by taxi from Port Zante.

2 Hours or Less

Walk central Basseterre from the port. Visit the Circus, Independence Square, and the Old Treasury. Browse the shops on Bay Road and Fort Street. Return to the port for duty-free shopping and a drink on the waterfront. No taxi needed.

Half Day (3 to 4 Hours)

Taxi to Cockleshell Beach or South Friars Beach for swimming and lunch at a beach bar. Or take a catamaran sail and snorkel tour that departs directly from Port Zante.
