The Scenic Railway is the flagship St Kitts excursion: a circle of the whole island on the last railway in the West Indies, built to haul sugar cane, now running double decker sightseeing cars. About three hours, part by train and part by bus, from Needsmust Station five minutes from the port.
Most seats sell through the cruise lines and the train runs on ship days, which makes independent seats the scarcest ticket on the island. Send your date below and we confirm whether seats are available for your call and at what price.
Worth knowing
The train follows the Atlantic side, the bus completes the Caribbean side, and drinks and a choir are part of the ride. It is the excursion to book first and the one most likely to sell out, and it may not run on days with no ship in port.
