Catamaran cruises

The Scenic Railway
Three hours around the island on the last railway in the West Indies, from a station five minutes away. It is the most requested excursion and the first to sell out on busy days. Request railway seats.
Island tours
Brimstone Hill, Romney Manor, the two-ocean view and a beach stop in three to four hours, by air conditioned van from $49 or open 4×4 from $100. Request an island tour.
Brimstone Hill

Adventure

Beaches, Nevis and the water
Beach club day passes from $45 at the cruise day beaches, the 20 minute water taxi to Nevis from $30 a head, and guided snorkel or dive trips from $100. Request a beach or Nevis day.
On your own from Port Zante
You do not need a tour to have a good day. The pier walks straight into Basseterre: Independence Square, the National Museum, the Circus clock and the duty free shops are all inside ten minutes on foot, and licensed taxis wait at the port gate with fixed fares to the beaches. What can I do near the cruise port without a tour?
Basseterre town, the National Museum, Independence Square and the shops at Port Zante are all within a ten minute walk of the pier. Beaches are a short fixed fare taxi ride.
Do excursions run if few ships are in?
Boat and van tours run whenever there are bookings. The Scenic Railway follows the ship schedule and may not run on empty days, so check the date before planning around it.
Will I get back to my ship on time?
